Universal Device Poller not showing all nodes

Overview

Some nodes do not appear in the Universal Device Poller win32 bit application.

Environment

  • NPM, all versions

Detail

In order for a device to be visible in the Universal Device Poller, application, the node in question must be added as an SNMP node because SNMP is the polling methodology required to poll the data and UnDP are contigent upon nodes actually being polled using the SNMP polling method.

 

If a node is added as an ICMP-only node, it will not be visible in the Universal Device Poller as a selectable node.
