Overview

Unable to view the Custom Table with SQL Query using non-admin account. However, logging in as Admin on the Orion Web Console shows the SQL Custom Table.

Environment

NPM 10.6 and later

Cause

SQL rights is limited for non-admin accounts for security reasons.

Resolution

Use SWQL (swis) query instead of SQL:

For example:

SELECT

s.Name,

s.LastRunDate,

s.LastRunDuration,

s.LastRunStatus,

s.SqlApplication.InstanceName,

s.SqlApplication.Node.Caption as Server

FROM Orion.APM.SqlJobInfo s

WHERE s.LastRunStatus = 0
