Unable to update Network Atlas map on the Web Console

Overview

This article provides steps to resolve the issue when you are unable to update Network Atlas after reloading a map on the Web Console. 

 

Environment

  • Orion Platform products
  • Network Atlas 1.16.20.0

Cause 

You are running on a failed version of Network Atlas 1.16.20.0.

Resolution

  1. Download and install Network Atlas hotfix 1.
  2. Restart all Orion services from the Orion Service Manager.
  3. Verify that the hotfix was installed successfully. 
    1. Go to the Control Panel > Programs and Features.
    2. Verify that your Network Atlas version is 1.16.39.0.
    3. Check that the SolarWinds.MapEngine.dll assembly version matches your product.
    4. If the versions do not match, copy the following assemblies from your Network Atlas installation folder to C:\inetpub\SolarWinds\bin:
      • SolarWinds.MapEngine.dll
      • SolarWinds.MapStudio.Common.dll
      • SolarWinds.MapStudio.Strings.dll
      • SolarWinds.MapStudio.Web.dll
