Overview

This article describes an issue that can occur when attempting to filter the resource "Node Related XX Syslog Messages."

Environment

NPM v11 and v11.5+

Detail

When attempting to apply a filter to the resource "Node Related XX Syslog Messages" found under the Node Details based view, any filter applied and saved in the resource properties will not be filtered once the data loads. Any combination of SWQL queries provided will return the same results: no data is filtered from the resource.

 

This is a known issue within SolarWinds at this time with that resource. You may contact SolarWinds Technical Support for further clarification on the issue.
