Unable to browse MIB tree in the universal device poller tool

Overview

The following error occurs when attempting to browse the MIB tree in the Universal Device Poller (UnDP) tool.

Environment

All NPM versions

Cause 

Corrupted MIBs database.

Resolution

Update the MIBs database.
After you update/replace your existing Mibs Database and you are still having issue open a ticket with Support.
 
Update the MIB database as indicated in the following procedure:
To download the updated MIB database:

  1. Browse to the SolarWinds Customer Portal.
  2. Provide your SolarWinds Customer ID and Password, and then click Log in.
  3. Click Helpful Links > Orion MIB Database.
    Note: The Orion MIB Database (MIBs.zip) should download automatically in your browser. Open your browser download folder to confirm download.
  4. Open the downloaded MIBs.zip archive, and then open readme.rtf.
  5. The SolarWinds MIB Database Update readme provides instructions for correctly updating the Orion MIB database on your SolarWinds server.
  6. Please create a backup of existing MIBs.cfg file before rewriting with the new one.
