Trigger an Alert to repeat until acknowledged or resolved

This article provides steps to configure an alert to repeat an Action such as "Send an Email or Page" every x minutes until the issue is resolved or acknowledged.


  • NPM version 10.4 or later
  • Orion Core 2012 or later


1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.

2. Click Settings > Manage Alerts.
3. Edit the Alert to be repeated.
4. Go to the Trigger Actions tab.
5. Edit the Send an Email Action.
6. Expand Execution Settings from the dialog box that opens.
7. Select "Repeat this action every X minutes until the alert is acknowledged". 
8. Enter a suitable value for how frequently you would like the alert to be triggered.

9. Save your changes.
