The Y-Axis in a chart/table is displaying X000000000% for percentage values

Overview

This article provides brief information and a resolution on the issue when the Y-axis indicates values of 4000000000%, 3000000000% and 2000000000% and 1000000000% etc when building a custom chart.

Environment

All NPM and SAM versions

Cause 

The Units Displayed setting for the Y-axis returns a raw value (ex. Percent Memory Used returns GB) while the chart being generated is trying to do a calculation based on percentage.

Resolution

Use a fixed Units Displayed setting, such as Bytes, which cleanly displays data and does not perform any calculations.
