Overview

The License Type may be unknown when you click Start > Programs > SolarWinds Orion > License Product.

 

Environment

Any product running on Orion Platform 2016.2, such as:

  • NPM 12.0.1
  • SAM 6.3

Detail

When you click Start > Programs > SolarWinds Orion > License Product, the license type is as Unknown (could not be loaded).

This is expected when your system clock is set forward in time or when your evaluation has expired.

 

Resolution: If customer has new licenses or are showing licences activated for these servers then...

APE licensing issue:  *note: when deactivate / reactive licenses does not work by itself then continues with....
Complete a 'Reset Burn/Purify' process
