On rare occasions, the SolarWinds Administration service stops responding. This may be due to the service being stopped or a synchronization time out.


All products running on Orion Platform 2016.1 and later.


  1. Attempt to restart the service from the Global or Server-specific administration page.
  2. Log in to the server with the issue.
  3. Start the service.
