Overview

This article describes how to set up Orion SMS alerts using NotePager Pro.

Steps

 

  1. SolarWinds supports SMS alerts through NotePager Pro. Integrate NotePager Pro with Orion using the Orion Integration Video TutorialPlease note that configuring/troubleshooting NotePage integration is out of our supported products.
  2. Set up an alert within NPM and add a basic the basic alert action Send E-Mail/Page.
  3. In the E-Mail address enter your cell phone number and email gateway. For example: 9055556543@txt.att.net
    Note: Each cell phone company has email gateways for forwarding SMS messages from an email server.
