Set the Dynaminc IP Address option in NPM

Overview

When necessary, you can configure NPM (versions 11.5.x and later) to communicate with devices that are using dynamic IP addresses. 

Environment

NPM 11.5.x and later

Steps

  1. When adding a new node, check the option on the Add Node screen to use Dynamic IP Address (DHCP or BOOTP).
  2. If you're modifying an existing node, click Manage Nodes.
  3. Select the desired node. 
  4. Click Edit Node, and then check the Dynamic IP Address option.
  5. Submit your changes.
