Overview

This article describes how to repair the Configuration Wizard schema.

Environment

NPM v10.5 to v11.0.1

Resolution

  1. Go to the Orion installation folder and open the Configuration.exe.config file in a text editor such as Notepad.
  2. Locate the <appSettings> line and add the following:
    <add key="Packaging.Internal.RepairMode" value="true"/> 
  3. If it already exists, change the value from False to true.
  4. Save the file and rerun the Configuration Wizard.
  5. Change the value back to false after the process completes.
