The new License key from the customer portal need to be applied on the Orion server. This would contain the updated Maintenance Date and hence remove the banner 'Maintenance Expired, You Will No Longer be Able to Upgrade'.

  1. Login to the customer portal ( with SWID and password
  2. Copy the activation key code for Network Performance Monitor
  3. Open License Manager (Start > All Programs > SolarWinds > SolarWinds License Manager)
  4. Click "Upgrade" for Network Performance Monitor
  5. Paste the Activation Key and click 'Next'
  6. Provide the necessary details and click 'Next'
  7. Restart the Orion Services  - How to Start Stop Orion Services
