Overview

This article describes how to reestablish the SQL instance connection after changing the IP address on the SQL database server.

Environment

NPM 11 and later

Steps

After changing the IP address on the SQL server, run the Configuration Wizard on the main Orion server and on each of the additional pollers.
 

Note: During any install or future updates of your SolarWinds products, SolarWinds recommends that you log in to your Orion systems with the local Administrator account (do not use a Domain Admin account) to avoid GPOs and any other potential permission issues.
