Overview

This article provides brief information on and steps to resolve the issue when PerfMonCounters and WMI classes when WMI Polled devices are not showing CPU, Memory and Interface data.

Note that wbemtest has been ran and the device in question is responding to WMI queries such as the following:

SELECT PercentProcessorTime FROM Win32_PerfFormattedData_PerfOS_Processor WHERE NOT NAME LIKE "%Total%"

SELECT PercentProcessorTime, TimeStamp_Sys100NS FROM Win32_PerfRawData_PerfOS_Processor WHERE NOT NAME LIKE "%Total%"

Also worth noting is that that when winmgmt /verifyrepository was ran in command prompt of the Windows devices, the result was WMI repository is consistent.

Environment

NPM version 11.5.3

Steps

  1. Open an elevated CMD window on the target system.
  2. Go to the directory c:\windows\sysWOW64\.
  3. Type the following commands:

    lodctr /R

    wmiadap.exe /f
