Query a specific node for all syslog messages in the database

Overview

By default, when you query the syslog table in the Database Manager it will only show the top 2000 rows. Please follow the steps below to get a list of all the syslog table entries.

All NPM versions

Steps

  1. Open the Database Manager and add the default server.
  2. Select and right click the name of the Orion database instance and select "New Query..."
  3. Enter the following query:
    Select * from Syslog
    where ip_address = 'xxx.xxx.x.xx'
  4. In place of the x's, you will want to place the IP address of the node you wish to see the syslog table entries for.
  5. Click Execute.
