Overview

The polling engine (either primary or APE) is showing as green but is timing out during polling or rediscovery.

The logs does not show any errors.

Environment

All NPM versions

Steps

Open Database Manager.

Open the All Engines table.

Verify that the engine is using the correct IP address.

If incorrect, verify that there are 2 NICs.

Change the IP address to the correct network adapter following the steps in the Unable to change the IP address of NPM server in a multi-network environment article.
