Polling and Information Service issues due to MSMQ storage permissions

There are polling issues encountered or the SolarWinds Information Service does not start due to insufficient permissions in the MSMQ storage folder.

The Message Queueing service by default runs as the Network Service account. This account should have full access to the following directory:


If full access is not granted, polling will fail as the data is not being written to the database. It is also possible that the temporary files cannot be deleted and will cause issues with SWIS.


Grant full access to the Network Service account to the MSMQ storage folder.
