Poll failed error on the Additional Polling Engine

After placing a new Additional Polling Engine in production and assigning nodes to it, the following error appears after clicking Poll Now.

All Orion products and versions


There is a missing Orion module on the the Additional Polling Engine. In this case, NPM. The Main Polling Engine has NPM, NCM and UDT while the Additional Polling Engine only have NCM and UDT.

Even with the error, polling done by Core is working but the error will appear as NPM specific OIDs are not being polled.


Install the missing ​(NPM) Additional Polling Engine package(s) from the Customer Portal to avoid seeng this error message.
