Parse OIDs with multiple statistic values

Table of contents

Updated August 8, 2016

Overview

In some cases, an OID from a device supplies two statistical values at once. That will necessitate using the UNDP transform to parse them into seperate statistics or resources in Orion.

Environment

All NPM versions with UNDPs

Detail

Use these values in two transforms:

  • For the first value (transform):

parse((?<result>^\D*(\d+(?:\.\d+)?)), {poller_name})

  • For the second value (transform):

parse(.+\s+(?<result>\D*(\d+(?:\.\d+)?)), {poller_name})
