Orion service manager does not stop Collector Data Processor

Overview

The Collector Data Processor fails to stop using Orion Service Manager.

Environment

NPM v10.6 and later

Cause 

There are messages in the Collector Data Processor queues that prevents the service from stopping.

Resolution

  1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SolarWinds\Collector.
  2. Run the Solarwinds Collector Control Tool.
  3. Click Delete Collector MSMQ.
