Overview

This article goes over how to resolve the Orion web GUI showing syntax and strings instead of buttons or column names.

Environment

Orion 

Cause 

The Orion application pool Managed Pipeline setting is not set to Integrated and has not been recycled.

Resolution

 

  1. Go to Start > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services Manager.
  2. Expand the server on the left in Connections Pane and select Application Pools.
  3. Look for SolarWinds Orion Application Pool, right click and select Basic Settings.
  4. Under Managed pipeline mode select Integrated and click OK.
  5. Right-click on the pool again and select Recycle.
