Environment

All Orion Platform versions

Cause

The cause of this is generally related to the bindings of the Orion Website in the IIS settings.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the Orion server (additional Web Server via RDP).

  2. Open IIS (Run > inetmgr).

  3. Expand the Orion website.

  4. Right-click and choose Edit Bindings.

  5. Confirm the settings here (verify that you're trying to connect via the specified port and IP Address).
Note: All Unassigned means it will attempt to bind to all IP Addresses on the port (127.0.0.1:80 / 10.10.10.10:80).

  6. Save the changes.

  7. Open an elevated command prompt.

  8. Run the command:iisreset

  9. Alternatively, you may stop/start the web server using the instructions in Start or Stop the Web Server (IIS 7) (© 2016 Microsoft, available at https://technet.microsoft.com/, obtained on March 2016.)

  10. Try to access the website with the entries specified in IIS.
