Fixed issues

This hotfix addresses the following issue:

  • The Worldwide Map resource is unusable

This hotfix also includes hotfix 1 for SolarWinds Orion Platform 2015.1.

Environment

Apply this hotfix if you run any of the following SolarWinds products:

  • NPM 11.5.3
  • SAM 6.2.3
  • IPAM 4.3.1
  • UDT 3.2.3
  • WPM 2.2.1
  • VNQM 4.2.3
  • NCM 7.4.1
  • SRM 6.2.1

Notes

  • This hotfix requires SolarWinds Orion Core 2015.1.3.
  • This hotfix must be installed on the main polling engine, on any additional polling engines, and additional web servers.
  • This hotfix addresses issues described in this hotfix for all SolarWinds products located on the same server and only needs to be applied once per server.

Installation instructions

  1. Download the hotfix from your Customer Portal.
  2. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator.
  3. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager.
  4. Run the OrionPlatform-v2015.1.3-HotFix2.exe, and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.

After applying this fix, the issues outlined in the description should no longer occur.

Uninstallation instructions

  1. Log in to the server hosting your SolarWinds Orion installation as an administrator.
  2. Run the Orion Service Manager, click Shutdown Everything, and close the Orion Service Manager.
  3. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > View installed updates.
  4. Select "Update for SolarWinds Orion Core Services 2015.1.3 v115.1.9221.35000 (HotFix2)", click Uninstall, and complete the uninstallation wizard.
