Fixed issues

This hotfix addresses the following issues:

  • You receive false alerts about node reboots when users set nodes to 'Unmanaged'.
  • You can only select individual recipients when sending a page or SMS message with NotePager Pro.
  • The Alert Manager in the web is empty when you have more than 5,000 alerts.
  • The ampersand (&) is counted as an illegal character in email addresses in alert and report actions.
  • The trap service stops after 45 minutes.
  • VM Associations are incorrect in AppStack.
  • Volume polling fails in Orion Platform when VMan integration is enabled.
  • Database maintenance deletes alert history for all reset alerts.

This hotfix also includes hotfixes 1, 2, and 3 for SolarWinds Orion Platform 2015.1.

 

Customers should install this HotFix even if you have not experienced any of the problems listed.

Environment

Apply this hotfix if you run any of the following SolarWinds products:

  • NPM 11.5
  • SAM 6.2
  • WPM 2.2
  • SRM 6.0 
  • VIM 2.0

Notes

  • This hotfix requires SolarWinds Orion Platform 2015.1.
  • Apply this hotfix only once. This hotfix addresses issues for all SolarWinds products located on the same server.

Installation instructions

  1. Download the HotFix archive from the customer portal.
  2. Extract the archive and follow the steps provided in the Readme.txt file.
