Overview

This article answers the question an alert to trigger off a custom script outside of SolarWinds database can be created.

Environment

Detail

The alerting engine for Solarwinds will only trigger off of values that exist in our database. There is currently no feature that will allow you to setup an alert to trigger off an external script  being ran on a server based on its output values.
