Issue:

Only selected SolarWinds Orion products currently support Microsoft SQL Server 2012

Description:

A number of features found in currently supported versions of Microsoft SQL Server are no longer included in Microsoft SQL Server 2012. As a result, among SolarWinds products, there is currently only limited support for the use of databases hosted on servers running Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

As of the publication of this article, only installations of SolarWinds NPM version 10.3.1 and higher may use databases hosted on SQL Server 2012.

For more information about using SQL Server 2012 with other SolarWinds products, see the SolarWinds product blog article, "Windows 2012, SQL 2012, and SolarWinds Products".

This Knowledge Base article applies to all SolarWinds Orion products, and it will be updated whenever any SolarWinds Orion product adds support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
