Overview

The ObjectSubType for agent-polled interfaces on Linux-based computers has an incorrect value in the Orion SQL database. The value is WMI regardless if the agent is for Linux or Windows. If you use ObjectSubTGype to generate reports, trigger alerts, or in SWIS calls, the value reported back is WMI for agent-polled interfaces.

Detail

The SQL database saves a value of WMI for the ObjectSubType for agent-polled interfaces. This value will return as WMI when you use ObjectSubTGype to generate reports, trigger alerts, or in SWIS calls, the value reported back is WMI for agent-polled interfaces.

Be aware that this value is incorrect for Orion agent for Linux polled interfaces.
