Nodes are not polled for NPM-specific data after NPM is installed

Issue:

Nodes that were initially monitored by a SolarWinds environment that did not include NPM are not automatically polled for NPM-specific information (e.g. wireless, EnergyWise, VSAN data, etc.) after NPM is installed.

Resolution:

After NPM is installed, select desired pollers using Node Management, as follows:

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console using an account with administrative privileges.
  2. Click Settings in the top right corner.
  3. Click Manage Nodes in the Node & Group Management section.
  4. For each node that is not polled completely, complete the following steps:
    1. Check the node that is not polled completely.
    2. Click List Resources.
    3. Confirm that all required pollers are checked.
    4. Click Submit.
