Network Insight views for ASA deleted after disabling Left Navigation

Overview

When you disable Left Navigation, Network Insight views for Cisco ASA are deleted. You can only see the Node Details Summary for ASA view, the other subviews are deleted.

 

Environment

  • NPM 12.2 and later
  • NCM 7.7 and later

 

Resolution

To restore Network Insight views for Cisco ASA, complete the following steps.

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console, and go to the Node Details page for ASAs.
  2. Click Customize Page > Page Settings, select Enable left navigation, and submit your changes.
  3. Run the attached script on the SolarWinds Orion database.
    You can run the script in the SolarWinds Database Manager, or the SQL Management Studio.
  4. Refresh the Node Details Summary for ASA view.

The script restores subviews for Network Insight for Cisco ASAs.
