Environment

NPM 11.5.2 and earlier

Cause

The SolarWinds Information Service is in an inconsistent state and cannot find a DLL.

Resolution

  1. Stop all Orion services.
  2. Repair the following services. Refer to the Repair a program section in Uninstall, change or repair a program.
    • SolarWinds Information Server Vxxxx.x.xxxx
    • SolarWinds Orion Network Atlas Vx.xx.xx
  3. Start the Orion services.

Verify that the issue is cleared and that maps can again be viewed in the Network Atlas.
