Environment

  • NPM 12.0.1
  • NTA 4.2.1

Cause 

The file SolarWinds.Netflow.Licensor.exe is missing from the install directory. 

Resolution

  1. Log in as a local admin and not a domain admin with administrator rights. 
  2. Open Control Panel > repair NTA.
  3. The Configuration Wizard should launch automatically. If it does not launch after five minutes, launch it from the Start menu.
  4. You can validate the path C:\Program Files (x86)\SolarWinds\Orion\NetFlowTrafficAnalysisto see if the file has been added to the directory after the repair.
