Overview

VMAN and NPM integration fails after applying a third party certificate with the following error:

Bad Data

Environment

NPM 11.5.2 with VMAN 6.3 integrated

Resolution

  1. Recreate account for integration by running the following query using SQL Management Studio or the Orion Database Manager: DELETE FROM CredentialProperty WHERE CredentialID = (SELECT ID FROM Credential where Name = '__VMan.Service.Account')              DELETE FROM Credential WHERE Name = '__VMan.Service.Account'
    Note: Run each command all in one line.
  2. Restart the services and integrate again.
