NPM: How to add an ASA node to Network Insight

Overview

Need to add an ASA node to the new ASA Network Insight in NPM.

Environment

  • NPM 12.2

Steps

If the node is a new node then follow the procedures in this article: Add a single node for monitoring.

If the node has already been added as an SNMP node, then:

  1. Select the node in the Node management resource, and click on Edit Node.
  2. When the Edit page opens, go to the ASA Network Insight section and add the CLI username and password
  3. Submit the change.
