These release notes describe new features, improvements, and fixed issues in the Network Automation Manager 2018.2 release. They also provide information about upgrades and installation. Network Automation Manager consists of the following components:
For information about installing Network Automation Manager see the SolarWinds Orion Installer.
Windows OS 2008 and 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 are no longer supported. You must upgrade to Windows Server 2012, 2012 R2, or 2016.
If you are upgrading from NAM 2017.3 or later, use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to upgrade one or more Orion Platform products simultaneously.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version, use the multiple products upgrade guide to plan and implement an upgrade to NAM 2018.2. Then use the SolarWinds Orion Installer to complete the upgrade.
