Issue:

NIC stops responding and crashed after an upgrade to NPM v11.0.1.

Cause:

This issue is usually caused by a bad NIC or a bad NIC driver.

Resolution:

  • If the NIC is installed on a Virtual Machine, delete and re-create the virtual NIC.
  • Update the NIC driver.
