Memory Pool MIB issue for some IOS versions

Overview

This article provides information when memory reports incorrectly for Some CISCO  CSR-8 or CSR-16 devices. 

Environment

  • ALL Versions of NPM
  • IOS version: 5.2.0.BASE

Detail

This is due to a Memory Pool MIB failure when SNMP polling is done. Memory utilization only pulls memory on the chassis instead of the supervisor cards of the device.

In the Node details view, you see the memory utilization rather than what the actual memory on the device is. 

You need to find the normal Memory Pool MIB values and perform an SNMP walk. To see more information, click the link below:
