WebinarUpcoming Webinar: Know What’s Changed – with NEW Server Configuration Monitor

Change management in IT is critical. But, even with a good change management process, changes are too often not correctly tracked, if at all. The configuration of your servers and applications is a key factor in their performance, availability, and security. Many incidents can be tracked back to an authorized (and sometimes unauthorized) configuration change, whether to a system file, configuration file, or Windows® Registry entry. Join SolarWinds VP of product management Brandon Shopp to discover how the new SolarWinds® Server Configuration Monitor is designed to help you.

Overview

Instead of seeing a PDF report when looking at the actionexecution.log file, you get an email with the following error:

FAIL: This session is no longer valid. If you wish to reuse the session later, please consider calling GetCookies to retain the session cookies, then reuse these cookies through HtmlToPdfOptions.Cookies with another session

Environment

NPM version 11.X

Cause

This issue occurs because NPM 11.X does not contain a web setting that fixes the problem.

Resolution

Note: Before doing any work on your database, please make sure that you have a current backup as this will make a permanent change to your database.

Run the following database query to add the new web settings into the database:

INSERT INTO dbo.WebSettings (SettingName, SettingValue)VALUES ('LoginNonceExpirationInSeconds','300');
