Last 7 Days report giving duplicate node listed

Overview

This article describes the issue when you modify Last Week report to Last 7 days and you get questionable results. When you run the report, the Graph portion (Custom Chart) appears to work correctly showing the top 5 nodes CPU average graphed for the last 7 days, but you get unexpected results for the Average CPU load percentages below the graph. 

If you run the report for Last 7 days or last week, it returns with two entries per node reporting on. It sometimes comes in with different values as well.

Environment

NPM version  11.5.X+

 

Cause 

This is caused by TimeStamp Column which is filtering information incorrectly.

 

Resolution

1. Edit report.
2. Click Edit Table in Content area.
3. Set Sample Interval to Show all values in the database, do not summarize.
4. Remove Timestamp column from Sort results by section. and click Submit.
