Endpoint error displays when running the Configuration Wizard

Overview

When you run the Configuration Wizard, the following error displays:

There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper.

Environment

  • NPM 12.x and later

Cause 

Microsoft® Update KB4019264 is installed on the server, which limits the Configuration Wizard from creating a self-signed certificate.

Resolution

  1. Log in to the server as an administrator.
  2. Uninstall Microsoft Patch KB4019264.
  3. Re-run the Configuration Wizard.
