Overview

This article addresses the issue when the following error displays:

Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

Steps

Run Event Viewer and verify that there is no antivirus endpoint blocking the file path.

 

Refer to Antivirus directory exclusions.
