Overview

This article provides brief information on the SQL database running out of space. 

Environment

  • NPM version 11.5.2 or later
  • SQL

Resolution

Note: The SQL database must never run out of disk space. 

The web interface data will have stale data. Syslog and traps will stop. Only alerting will work.

 

You must do the following:

Add more disk storage

 

OR

 

Check what is taking the disk space in the database. Do queries on its syslog and traps. Truncate those fields in the database.
