Overview

While browsing information on the Web Console, some resources may show the following error:

There was an error while loading data for this resource.
SqlDateTime overflow. Must be between 1/...

Environment

All Orion Platform versions

Cause

This is caused by incorrect (unsupported) database collation, which causes the date/time values being stored in unsupported format.

Resolution

Database collation needs to be corrected and set to one of supported collation. The complete list of supported collations is found in product Administrator Guide.

Note: Some tables may already contain data. They have to be dropped as there is no easy way to retain data in such case.
