Overview

Virtual machines, whether Hyper-V or VMware, show the following error:

One or more thresholds are exceeded

Environment

NPM 11.5.2

Resolution

  1. Take note of the Node ID and the name of the VM that is reporting the error.
  2. Open the database manager on the Orion server.
  3. Query the VIM_Resources table to search for the VM that is reporting this.
  4. Check the triggered alarm setting.

Note: You may also implement VMAN in your environment. This will allow for a more granular management of Virtual Devices in your environment.
