Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_NetPath_Performances_2017xxxx'

Overview

The following error is displayed in the Windows Event log and the graphs do not display when monitoring endpoints with NetPath:

Exception: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException (0x80131904): Violation of PRIMARY KEY
constraint 'PK_NetPath_Performances_20170325'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object
'dbo.NetPath_Performances_2017xxxx'. The duplicate key value is xxxxxxxxxx
The statement has been terminated.

Cause 

This is a bug in the product.

Resolution

Download and install Network Performance Monitor v12.1.0 - HotFix 1 from the Customer Portal.
