Overview

This article describes a problem you may encounter when automatic login is enabled.  If you click Logout when automatic login is enabled, a login failure occurs after entering the credentials.

Environment

All Orion versions

Cause

After logout, Orion leads you to a page where login is prevented.  If this is not the case, when you attempt to logout, the page will loop back into the Orion website because the active directory logins are configured to login automatically.

Resolution

There are two ways to get back into Orion after logging out of the Orion Web Console.

  • Navigate to the main page, away from the page the Logout button led to.  For example:

Logout page URL:

http://orion-corpsite/Orion/Login.aspx?autologin=no

Main page URL:

http://orion-corpsite

  • Close the browser and navigate to Orion again.
