Use Report Manager to configure business hours in web-based reports in Orion Platform

Overview

Use the Report Manager to configure business hours for web-based reports from the Orion Web Console.

Environment

NPM 12.0 and later

Note: Not all Orion reports supports Timestamp variable when creating filters in advance selector. Need to verify the object where these filters are applicable

Resolution

  1. In the Orion Web Console, go to Reports > All Reports > Manage Reports.
  2. Click Create New Report, select Custom Table, and then click Select and Continue.
  3. In Select Objects, click Advanced Selector, and then click Add Condition.
  4. Add the start time of your business hours:
    1. Click Select field, and then search for Timestamp.
    2. Select the timestamp for the correct category and then click Add Column.
    3. In the Timestamp drop-down, select time of day is after, and then enter the start time of your business hours.
  5. Add the end time of your business hours:
    1. Click Add Simple Condition, and then add the timestamp.
    2. In the Timestamp drop-down, select time of day is before, and then specify the end time of your business hours.
    3. Click Add And/Or block, change the condition to at least one child condition must be staisfied(OR).
    4. In the Timestamp drop-down, select day of week is, and then specify your business days.
  6. Complete the table definitionspecify the table layout for the report, and then complete the report.

In the wizard, you can restrict who can access the report or schedule the report to run regularly.

The new report will now be available from the Orion Console under Reports > All Reports.
