Use Custom Query to show Node Name and IP Address

Overview

This article provides steps on how to use the Custom Query resource on your NPM Web Console to show the Node Name and IP address of a device managed by your NPM server.

Environment

NPM version 10.6 and later

Steps

  1. On your NPM Web Console Summary page, click Customize Page on the upper right corner.
  2. Click the + button to add Custom Queryresource.
  3. Click Done.
  4. Edit the newly added resource and add the below query:
    SELECT Caption AS NodeName, IPAddress FROM Orion.Nodes WHERE NodeID = ${NodeID}
  5. To finish, click Submit.
