Update SNMP credentials for multiple nodes

Overview

The customer has updated the SNMP credentials of his devices and would like to edit the credentials he used for his SNMP nodes at NPM multiple nodes at a time.

Environment

NPM 11.5.2 and later

Steps

  1. Log in to the Orion Web Console.
  2. Go to Settings > Manage Nodes.
  3. Group Nodes by Polling Method, then click on SNMP.
  4. Select the nodes you would like to update the SNMP credentials for.
  5. Click Edit Properties.
  6. Select Polling Method and then apply your changes (community string etc.).
  7. Click Submit.

Note: This will work only for SNMP devices with the same SNMP credentials.
