Issue

When configuring the Time Period for any of the new charts introduced with SolarWinds NPM 10.4 (Orion Platform 2012.2), selecting Last Month incorrectly provides data for the last 30 days.

Resolution:

This issue should be addressed in a future release of the Orion Platform. Until the fix is delivered, the following procedure provides a workaround:

To configure a new chart to display data for the last month:

  1. Click Edit in the header of the chart resource with the incorrect Time Period.
  2. In the Time Period section, select Last Month as the Default zoom range, and then select Last 3 Months as the Amount of historical data to load.
  3. Click Submit.

This article applies to all SolarWinds products based on the following Orion Platform versions:

  • 2012.2.X
  • 2013.1
